Arithmo Arena · Last updated: 15 October 2026

This policy explains what the Arithmo Arena app and website collect, why, who processes it and what you can do about it.

Who is responsible

Georgios Chios, an individual developer based in Greece (“we”), is the controller of your personal data. Contact: george.chios@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Account. If you create an account: your email address (email sign-up) or the identifier your Google or Apple account gives us, and the player name you choose. If you play as a guest, an anonymous account ID.
  • Game data. Your best scores per game, weekly challenge results and badges, Daily Sniper results, and your scores in multiplayer rooms. Your player name and scores appear on public leaderboards (guests without a player name don't).
  • Analytics (with consent where required). How the app is used, for example which games are started and finished, through Google Analytics for Firebase. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we only collect this if you agree in the consent message; elsewhere it is on.
  • Advertising. The app shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device’s advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), your IP address and device information. Personalized ads are shown only if you agree in the consent message (EEA, UK, Switzerland) and, on iOS, if you allow tracking. Otherwise ads are not personalized.
  • Crash and diagnostic data. The app does not contain a crash-reporting tool. If you allow it in your device settings, Apple or Google may share anonymous crash reports with us.

We don’t collect your location, contacts or photos, and we don’t sell your data.

Why (legal basis)

  • Running the game, your account and leaderboards: to provide the service you asked for (contract).
  • Analytics and personalized ads in the EEA, UK and Switzerland: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Non-personalized ads, security and abuse prevention: our legitimate interest in funding and protecting a free game.

Who processes it

  • Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Hosting, Analytics), by Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC.
  • Google AdMob, by Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC.

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in its terms (for example the EU Standard Contractual Clauses). Google LLC is also certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

  • Account and game data: until you delete your account.
  • Multiplayer rooms: while the room exists.
  • Analytics: 14 months, then deleted automatically.

Delete your account

In the app, go to Profile → Delete account. This deletes your account, player name, best scores, weekly and Daily Sniper results and badges. It can’t be undone. You can also ask us by email.

Your choices and rights

  • Change your ad and analytics consent any time in Profile → Privacy settings (shown where a consent message applies). On iOS you can also change tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to its use, by writing to george.chios@gmail.com.
  • You can complain to a data protection authority; in Greece, the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

Children

Arithmo Arena is meant for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children under 13; if you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country (15 in Greece), please ask a parent or guardian before you agree to personalized ads or analytics in the consent message.
